  • Community Crime Alert - September 17, 2020

The Trinity University Police Department received a report of a community member who became the victim of a scam after responding to a suspicious email from paulshawn22 (outlook.com) that contained a job offer as a personal assistant. No legitimate employer or company will ever ask you to transfer money or pay to get hired. If the company asks you to forward or wire money it's a major red flag, and you should stop all communication. Please visit http://www.ic3.gov/preventiontips.aspx for additional tips and information.

Should you receive any suspicious emails or have any information in relation to this scam, please contact University Police at 210-999-7070.
